So I know this is coming, but does anyone have any details on it? I heard it's being released some time in September, but I'm not sure.

While I'm at it, might as well ask if anyone's heard of any other potential new editions of Cruise films..we got a new Taps release not long ago...I'm still hoping for the M:I 2 director's cut.

Yes, Risky Business could use a re-master, as the movie has never really looked that good anyway, either on the widescreen LaserDisc, or anamorphic DVD, both of which I own.

Here's hoping that Warner continues with their great remastering, as done on Blade Runner, and as reported with the forthcoming Dirty Harry Box Set (5 films). And perhaps Warner can find some SpEd content about RB's reclusive director, Paul Brickman, as this was his directorial debut, and he's done very litttle film-related work since.

I haven't seen that movie in many years, but I have a pair of the sunglasses and wear them daily.

Wow, thanks for that Tim. Quite funny.

Anyway, found this, a little bit of info on the movie, and the cover art. I'm a bit surprised we haven't heard more about this if it's this far along. Apparently Cruise has a commentary on the movie, which excites me, it'll be cool to hear him reflect on the film all these years later.
