Blu-ray fans...
> MAY 20, 2008 (next week) - Paramount re-releases their previous Blu-ray catalog, most are $20.95 on Amazon... (from the Format War Central website)
With the exception of Trading Places and Freedom Writers, all of the Paramount and DreamWorks Blu-ray Disc titles have been relisted for pre-order at Amazon with a release date of May 20th 2008. (Granted a number were available for purchase a few hours ago - however they have now converted to pre-order status.)
With the additional titles already announced for that day, Paramount is going to make quite a splash! For a reminder list of what Paramount had available, see the Blu-ray Stats report. -[END]-

Guess I will be waiting for the individual Jack Ryan titles on Blu-ray now...unless Amazon gets to the secret Paramount vault and ships my long awaited HD-DVD copy before they shred it

I want Hunt for Red October and Madagascar would look awesome in hidef. Most of the others I already have on HD DVD.
By the way the cases for HD DVD and bluray are the same size thankfully so it looks ok when you have them mixed together on a shelf.
I'm a simple person, what can I say.

ReaggieP strangely said -
Huh? Do you really mean what you wrote above?
This thread is about Paramount Blu-ray releases... (tied to a DVDTOWN news story).
My two posts support this thread's subject 100% - with disc images, link to a related story, and then news I found after midnight Tuesday that Paramount is releasing more BD titles, especially TRANSFORMERS, which many fans have been anxiously awaiting news about (for Blu-ray), since the studio previously was HD-DVD exclusive.
Also ReaggieP, if I have something to contribute, I first try to see if a RELATED THREAD already exists before starting yet another thread, and I believe most people would appreciate this. I mean, there were how many "Sweeney Todd" threads (5? 6?), etc etc.
And I do appreciate your posted input here on things you are well-learned and knowledgeable about, such as computers, XBox 360, software, 'burning' copies (hehe).

Hi-jack it? It's HIS thread. How can he hijack his own thread? He can do anything he bloody well likes with it.
