2. ABC's official synopsis: The face-off between the survivors and the freighter people begins.

4. Be on the lookout for both Michelle Forbes and Cheech Marin.

Discuss!

Here in Canada on Bell express vu shows like Lost air at 7:00pm or different times on "The A Channel". With Bell it is called time shifting (kind of fitting). Anyways I just finished watching the episode. It was edge of the seat good. The best was Sun confronting her father, You'll see what I mean! This episode sets next weeks part 2 and 3 up very nicely. Lots of references to the number 6! No next week preview though!
I will leave it at that until others have seen it!

Hmmm...I haven't felt the rush this entire season. Maybe urgency to keep moving the story along because there are only two seasons left. But not rushed...and definitely not as hamfisted and completely mashed together like the Smallville finale was.

But yes, Ironbull, Sun buying up a majority interest in her father's company was priceless. It goes to show she did a lot of maturing in the 100 days on the island, learning how to survive from the best in the business. She is ensuring her own future as well as the child. Evidently, Sun won't be anyone's doormat any more.

I had a thought last night. We know the Oceanic Six were lying all season about no one else surviving. And the general idea has been everyone else is dead. What if Sawyer, Claire, Locke, Jin, Desmond and everyone else is still alive on the island and refused to leave for some reason? It would at least partially explain why Jack wants to go back so badly from the S3 finale-he now knows Claire is his half-sister and Aaron his half-nephew (?).

And the entire time on the freighter, I kept waiting for the thing to explode, killing both Jin and Desmond, making my above theory terribly wrong. Hasn't happened yet.

Dude! I was so fucking pissed off when the show cut to black just as all the characters were converging on the Orchid. Now we have to wait two weeks to see anything else...and another seven months for Season Five??????

Jason, better than Grey's + Betty + Housewives + CSI (all of them) + Law and Order (all 3)

What do you mean better than ALL of them together Jason??

Believe me when I say, it's Friday Night Lights, Nip/Tuck, LOST, and Desperate Housewives, the best in that order...
(obviously, shows still on air...oh, and you can get FNL for like $20 each season, lots of deleted scenes(good ones) and a couple of featurettes...)

I was hearing that next season is the last. Is that true?

No. Two more seasons left.

I think that Paik and now Sun's company are partnered with Widmore. Which could be interesting!!!!
I read an article with Jorge Garcia and he said in part two or three of the finale a big answer about last seasons finale will be revealed. (Person in the coffin revealed?).

I mean, Lost is better than all of those other shows I listed put together. Yes, I am serious. More thought, creativity and production work goes into one hour of Lost than the entire season of CSI: Lake Woebegone.

Pilot episode.
HHHMMMMMMMM
Someone mentioned these two pics on a Lost forum.
May not be intentional but is something that should make you think!

Best show ever!

In the post above I put two pictures and both showed up in the post. Now I check back later and only one picture can be seen.
Can anyone else see both pics?
I could see both before!

I only see Jack laying face up from the beginning of the Pilot, IIRC. Not that I mind the picture, but it's the only one I see.

Jason, Oceanic or Bust!

I tried a smaller version of the pic. Maybe that will work.

Got both of them now.

The only connection between Jack and Ben I can see, right now, is there interest in protecting the island. Jack and the O6 lied to protect it (and, possibly, the people left behind) while all Ben does is in the name of protection.

But haven't we also seen other characters laying on their backs with an overhead shot like this? I'm not recalling immediately, sadly.

Jason, All Will Be Revealed...wait, wrong show

The buzz about these two pics is that when Jack stood up and ran to the beach he looked right first toward where the camp currently is. Then headed left to the wreckage. Jack is trying to get back to the Island But maybe got back in the pilot episode. BUT that doesn't explain the beard he was sporting in the flash forward.

If the island version of Jack is just a Time Travel Jack, then wouldn't he already know how events went down and, presumably, change what we've already seen in regards to deaths and other surprises? He was a bit surprised when Juliet kissed him and doesn't quite know where he and Kate stood for a long time. There was no indication he knew Claire was his half sister.

I don't know if I like the logic. I can't point to anything which says "Jack knew." Unless he got his mind wiped in "getting back"...which then flies in the face of the stated science policy.

OH YEAH! Be careful out there...someone got a hold of the script or finale episodes, posting HUGE spoilers on the net. Damn bastard ruining all our fun.

Jason, has to go back and watch the Pilot again

Jack had constants so maybe he forgets or knows he remembers something and that is why he looks right on the beach then snaps back to what he has to do. Long shot I know and probably not relevant but fun to discuss.

Why do people want to ruin the fun by posting the finale scripts.

When we talk spoilers here it is stuff that has already aired.
I don't want the show spoiled for me. I want to watch it unfold.

I never liked the whole constant theory. Desmond's constant is Penny, existing in both the past and island-present. Ben's constant could be Widmore...he exists in the past, present and future. But who would Jack's be? Could it be Kate? But he didn't know her in the past...I think. Grrrr...

Damn straight. Just 10 days until it won't matter anymore.

I just watched the full promo from ABC for part 2 and 3 and my hair stood on end and my eyes did not blink. They show 2 seconds inside the Orchid.

I've watched it ten more times on youtube. Yep still hair raising.
Promo's are as far as I dare go with future episodes (because the promo will be on tv or already is). I don't even read the comments others have about the promo.

I will keep repeating to myself:

Lost Finale in HD...Lost Finale in HD...

And remember how beyond screwed up my brain was AFTER the S3 finale. I wanted to punch the TV for leaving us with a ranting Jack for 7ish months!!!!!!!!

Go to youtube and watch the full promo (you will know when you see inside the Orchid) I searched there's no place like home promo 2 and 3, and found it. It's an ABC promo so it's safe.

The other one I posted before wasn't the full promo.
I don't want to post a link but it's on youtube.

I'll be doing this when I get home...kinda sucks without audio.

And I'm sure the BF wants to see it, too. Though he doesn't get as excited over it as I do.

Nope. It was never scheduled to be tonight. Grey's has their 2 hour finale this week and Lost's is next week. In fact, next Thursday night is Lost night...three hours worth.

I did however managed to watch "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" instead last night, and rolled off of the couch many of times!!! That show was freaking hillarious! The Golden mask guy, what the hell was that? The guy making an impression in his underwear? Like what. I know he's proud of his body but, that was insane?
