I would go for this if they shipped to Toronto but they don't. I always get the shaft.

Such a deal... NOT.
For an additional $150, that would match the cost of my FULL HTPC rig! Blu-ray player included, running 1080p via ATI HD 2600 XT. Tivo functions, even.
Oh, and I can actually DO COMPUTER WORK & ONLINE TEAM FORTRESS 2. The benefits among flexibility & OODLES & OODLES audio/video format support: No need for firmware patches, or online glitches due to FREE PS3 ONLINE JOKE.
Yes, I used to have a 80gb ps3 as a blu-ray player, then realized the cheaper cost of owning a computer, based on flexibility & FUTURE UPGRADES. Yes, I don't play console games... HATE THEM WITH A PASSION.
Back To Basic 4 Me.

Boy, it doesn't take much for the PS3 Haters to wake up!
What's wrong with 5th Element? I would take that over Spiderman 3 any day!
Xplaytendo, have you actually played any online PS3 games? What are these "glitches" you keep referring to? I play GTA4 and Call of Duty 4 online all the time with no real problems.
Considering you admit you don't play console games, sounds to me you are just putting out baseless nosense.

Yes, but it's so easy to hate the greedy! Plus, it makes you feel a whole lot better!

Tim, I love the 5th Element, but Chris Tucker did irritate the hell out of me too.

I think he was supposed to be annoying. Unfortunately, the realism was too much at times!

It's a great buttery popcorn eye candy movie, lots of effects, chases, that hot blue chick that looks like a twi'lek from SW (I love blue and green twi'leks, by the way)
...
And that wasn't hate, it was sarcasm as to how 'big' the rewards were...tempting, not really...

I have to agree that Fifth Element is a much better offer than Spiderman 3. No question.
Well I tired to order this through amazon.com but I officially got the shaft, they don't ship to Canada. <-- Insert broken heart here.

I just saw the 60 gig PS3 for $299 with Spidy at Costco. Is that a good deal? Not like I would buy one, but, more to flip it on E-Bay.

not a bad deal for a PS fan. as the 60 gig is the most compatible with ps2 games.

Well I just called my local Sams Club in Toronto and they have a 40GB PS3 offer that comes with the bluray remote and apparently Grand Tourismo 5: Prologue for $427. Sweet deal.
Picking it up tonight unless I find a better deal elsewhere.
