Netflix has a set top box with wifi. Of course you can only watch their limited online movies, and you have to add them to your queque before you can find them with the box but I think it looks like something worth having.

What more do you want people? Either we want it or not, rental services (only rental, IMO) will go the way of streaming...

When they get it to dvd quality I'll buy one. Right now that one is only 480i. From the reviews its like cable or satellite quality. Too low resolution for my bigscreen. I'll continue to hook my laptop up to the tv for any of their streaming stuff.

From that review, it seems like they're using a 1Mbps stream? They must be using one heck of an efficient codec!

Yeah, on computer it doesn't look half bad but on a bigscreen you notice the low quality. It's pretty impressive for the low bandwidth it uses. They just need to tweak it for those that have good internet speeds.

For only $99, I think I'm buying one just to see how it works...

Life is good with FIOS and no stupid traffic shaping or bandwidth caps like cable
