A TAD BIT BLURRY.

International game reviews has given it positive feedbacks, but IGN has denounced its quality... with a score of 4.5 out of 10! Granted that's just one bad review, but that's a review coming from IGN! It's yet to be revealed what EGM, or Gamespot thinks about the game... but most importantly: Is it worth $59!

After MILLIONS of dollars in development & many many months of marketing hype -what many has debated the game to be a HALO killer (again, like Killzone)- HAZE doesn't seem to pop a good start in the U.S. gaming review shores.

I guess until the verdict is out from REAL players ... buy the PS3 for anything but console gaming experience.... or a very SHINY EXPENSIVE paperweight.

Wow Tyler, thanks for keeping us up to date with your unbiased blasting

Personally I'm too busy playing Call of Duty 4 and GTA4 to care about Haze.

Sounds like the game had lots of techinical issues from the start, hence all the delays, but it's nice how you can blame Sony, even though the game was developed by Ubisoft!

Wow, i watched some of the previews for that game and it looked like it would be awesome. Kind of like the game Blacksite Area 51 (looked awesome but was only mediocre).

Being dubbed the "Halo Killer" is always a kiss of death. If a game ever comes along that truly fits that bill, it'll probably be something that no one sees coming.

Hey Movielover, HAZE was never dubbed a Halo killer. That honor was given to Killzone 2, which is still in development. tylerjerkins did'nt even play the game and I doubt he owns a PS3. So until then he should only speak about things he actually owns and close his hole.

I am surprised by how low this review was. IGN receives alot of sponsorship deals and paid marketing and advertising from some very big companies so I'm sure they get pressure sometimes to inflate scores to return the favor. Usually their scores for big titles never fall below a 7 regardless of how bad a game is. IGN even came out initially and defended gamespot executives after the kane and Lynch review scandal. Guess that full-page ad that ran on the IGN website the week of its release didn't have anything to do with that. Maybe the gershmann-gate saga was a good thing because it has freed the gaming journalists to really speak their mind without fear of punishment from the corporate level. Now if they try to put pressure on a reviewer to inflate scores all the reviewer has to do is expose it and gamers will abandon the publication/website like what happened to gamespot.

Yes movielover, how dare you say Haze was supposed to be the halo killer when the all knowing Tony did not dub it so.

Haze was dubbed a halo killer, the same as KZ2. Every big budget FPS for the ps3 will be dubbed a halo killer.

richiro33, yes, I like to think I know a thing or two about the things I own.[wink] But I really can't say anything about HAZE because I don't own the game. That's the problem I have with tylerjerkins. At least read several reviews before you start spewing off at the keyboard.

Actually many publications and forums including Game Informer, Gamespot, and IGN, mentioned Halo in every Haze preview. I guess they forgot to call you for comment Tony.

richiro33, according to you I'm the official word when it comes to the PS3. If what you say is true then it's not truth unless I say it. To me it's not a Halo killer. It's the games first start out of the gate. Let's see when the third installment drops (if it makes it that far).
