The Last Crusade was freaking awesome so if it's close to that we are in for a good ride.

Now here's how i am looking at critics on their "chastising" reviews...
You mean out of the 161 critics, so far, you're making it a point to attack the 32 critics on their point of view? Not to mention, you make it sound as if this movie is taking a pounding in critic response. AGAIN, RT, 80%-fresh IS ABOVE AVERAGE! For the love of Pete, are any of you guys paying attention?

Thanks MrCzech for the insight and thanks for not posting spoilers
We may have to rename the title of this thread so that it has the word "Spoilers!" in it. That way we can all talk openly about it after we've seen it without ruining it for other people.

falcon, all i have to say is my favorite line is a real huge laugh. plus, i don't think i need to give it away, you need to see it to get the idea. the other major laugh (which i will say again happens early in the movie) is funny because it let's indy loose with the vibe "am i getting too old for this shit?"
raynor, i wasn't worried about the minority of critics that IMHO overreacted. i'm just saying is that you have to like indiana jones to like this movie.
i also hope everyone else agrees with me about the use of CGI that it was used the right way.

Just saw this and absolutely loved it. It's the first movie I've left in a while where I wanted to see it again almost immediately. If I had to rank the four movies it would be.
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Last Crusade
3. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
4. Temple of Doom
KOTCS is so close to Last Crusade for me it's almost a tie. I just enjoyed Sean Connery and Harrison Ford's father son relationship in that so much it edges out this movie by a tiny bit. However this movie was fantastic and lots of great call backs to the previous movie's for Indy Fans.

As a kid my dad took me to see the first three movies. Tonight at 7:05pm I will be buying two tickets, some popcorn and a couple of sodas. This time around i'll be taking my dad to see the Indiana Jones movie.

Spoonard that sounds nice. I wanted to do the same thing when the Star Wars prequels came out cause he took me to see the original trilogy when I was a kid. Unfortunately he lives WAY too far but I would love to do the same thing.
Enjoy it.
Enjoy it.

My dad took me to the first three. Today I treated both my parents to it and we all loved it. It's better than Temple of Doom but I still prefer Raiders and Last Crusade. There were definitely some humorous parts and the action was good as always. The CGI was absolutely noticeable at times but it didn't bother a whole lot cause so much was going on. To do what they were doing had to have CGI or stunt men would have died, lol. Now I understand what you meant about the rope, haha.
