OK, it's saturday, all of us with HD DVD players or BD players are getting ready to hunker down for a movie or two I bet. So, what's on the play list for the evening? I was thinking about Knocked Up for a good comedy and then go to bed all depressed after We Were Soldiers. You guys?

Either Bourne Supremacy or Serenity. I always watch Serenity in bits and pieces. Oh and there's the Boston Celtics vs Detroit Pistons

We watched V for Vendetta tonight on HD DVD. Now we're about to go out dancing at the club, and perhaps instigate a little anarchy while we're at it.

Ended up watching the Celtics game and then passed out. So glad they won. Kevin Garnett deserves a championship and they showed some very touching one-on-one interviews with him and Bill Russell (Boston Celtics legend).

I picked up a couple Potter Brooo-rays earlier in the week (Prisoner of Asskiban & Goblet of Fire) since they were on special sale of $19.99. I watched Prisoner last night and will probably watch Goblet tonight. Need I mention how awesome Potter looks in hi-def! lol

Shit, yesterday's PGA game looked awesome! Golf used to bore me to tears to watch, but in hi-def it's freaking mind-blowing! I mean, you can see the little blades of grass on the greens! Unfreakingbelievable!!!

I love watching golf too Tim (in HD). Last night, I watched my Houston Astros win (<details/video clips) in a thrilling 2-out double play in the top of the ninth against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Ironically, the veteran Darin Erstad (who the Astros acquired just this season, formerly of the LA Angels) entered the game at the start of the 9th inning as a defensive replacement for Carlos Lee (next to Lance Berkman he's out best hitter), playing in left field.

The Phillies loaded the bases off 41-year old Astros relief pitcher Doug Brocail with one out in the ninth inning. The dramatic game-winning play was when the Phillies' Shane Victorino flew out to Erstad in left, and then Erstad threw a perfect throw to Brad Ausmus, the Astros catcher, who tagged out Pedro Feliz at the plate - GAME OVER.

Sporting events (I like just about everthing, especially in HD), regularly interfere with my Hi-def movie watching! And hey, this past week I got those (3) sets of LOST Seasons 1 thru 3 ($70 Amazon sale recently), and I'm going to start watching these soon. In our Houston Chronicle newspaper today, ZEST entertainment section, there's a big write-up on LOST, with timeline info (going back to the 1800s), character profiles, and then a long article (which I haven't read yet obviously - saving for later).

REMEMBER the heroes tomorrow - MEMORIAL DAY, and all those who've served to keep America free and safe. We say Thank You.

I saw the trailer for the 2-hour end of season Lost episode next week and it looked GOOD. I may even watch that one.

Yeah sports in HD are so much more enjoyable especially if have you have surround sound to go with it. Good times and no need to leave the house.

Go Celtics!!
