Hey Eddie... yeah, I like John Cusack too, and noticed this title last night at Blockbuster while receiving a free rental of Rambo on BD (which I'm going to purchase soon too). Do you know if that movie you reviewed is coming to Blu-ray?

Yeah I'll definitely will be renting it^ (interesting story, plus John Cusack is another actor who's work I usually enjoy).

In addition to the Weinstein company, I wish New Line Cinema (now fully under Warner's control) would release more new releases and catalog titles on Blu-ray. To my knowledge, they only have 3 titles announced for release soon - Be Kind Rewind, Semi-Pro, and DARK CITY (I've got this on pre-order already). New Line should get moving with more product in HD (in addition to their ongoing work for The Lord of the Rings trilogy in future BDs).

FYI Hendrix,
I came to my senses (you got to me. with bladewhimper ) and went out and purchased the very cool five disc set of BLADERUNNER on BLU RAY. So...am I back in the club again?

Btw. When I cracked this thing open, 3 of the five discs hit the damn floor!!! Needless to say, I wasnt too happy about that.

Hey, that's great bladerunner... remember, you can always trade or re-sell (Amazon, eBay, Craig's List) any unwanted BD or DVD titles (CDs, books, video games etc). I do this occasionally, especially selling off a DVD edition I no longer want to own since a better edition is announced for released.

I mentioned a few months back, that I sold off my older (original) anamorphic DVD release of Warner's DIRTY HARRY (on Amazon - received around $22, was in mint condition), since the studio next week is releasing an all-new Special Edition set (on both DVD and Blu-ray), remastered in 4K resolution (like Blade Runner last year), and with tons of bonus content. I clicked on the DVDTOWN ad link promo for this DH Box set *visited the Dirty Harry website), and plan to buy soon at a discounted price (Blu-ray of course).

As Eddie and others have mentioned, you can trade discs on the HighDefDigest.com website, where you list your titles for trade. There are always other collectors willing to trade one of their discs for one of yours. (and if you have any valuable, or out/print discs, you might receive a premium price by re-selling them on the sites I mentioned above).
