How come I can pick up Ghost Rider on Blu-ray from dvd.co.uk or amazon.co.uk for about 9 to 10 pounds (about $20.00 CDN/US landed) but the same disc at Best Buy in Canada is $34.99 or $29.99 in the US? Or even $21.99 on amazon.com...forget the $31.95 amazon.ca wants

The only way Blu-ray is truly going to make inroads in the North American market place is to provide the software at a far more attractive price.

The only Blu-ray discs I have picked up were either used at the local pawn shop or the odd mispriced items at HMV...buy one for $25 and get one free.

Well, first it is very different from country to country so it is not cheap everywhere. Blu-ray in some stores are seen as high as what is equal to $60 in some countries.

Another factor is that the US $ is extremely weak right now. $20 equals around 10 British Pounds or 13 Euro.
