Good call mvckalel... IMO, the Transformers movie has more 'repeat viewing' value, than say, Hellboy <although I hope #2 is much better. The first one just had too little 'action' for my taste... not so with the 'wildness' of Transformers... (or Shoot 'Em Up, another of my recent favs).

Tranformers is a very fun movie. That is if you didn't watch the cartoon, or play with the the toys as a kid. Then it becomes quite a disaster. The Decepticons were ALLLLLLLLL wrong. They did get Optimus right though...except for the "flamejob". But this also had alot to do with having the original guy doing the voice. A very fun HD-DVD indeed!

Man you guys like some pretty crappy flicks! lol

If I'm looking for an expensive drink coaster for my coffee table, Transformers will be first on my list!

Hellboy2 looks to have insane action.

Thanx Hendrix...sad that you didn't enjoy Hellboy as much, it does have a better plot...but I think the neverending action sequences (more towards the end) of Transformers makes up for it...I WAS RIGHT...

I agree with Transformers being a great movie on its own HOWEVER, like blade said, for a Transformers fan (like me) who has followed the cartoons and still owns (I do) close to 200 G1 Transformers the movie was a huge disappointment.

As for "best flick award" from a network that bases its programming on crappy reality shows with nothing but teenage drama and borderline NC-17 sexual content, I would not expect anything more from MTV.

I think it is their target audience... ...but a best movie award from any award show is good...

I think I was more into Robotech than in Transformers, go figure that one out...
