As I rapidly close out on titles left for me to buy on the HD-DVD format before I go completely Blu-ray, I am curious to see what other people are looking to pick up before you no longer can...

I am down to the following...

Flags of Our Fathers
Letters from Iwo Jima
Million Dollar Baby
Oh, and Band of Brothers and the Jack Ryan box set (yeah, right :roll

But that will pretty much do it for me

I bought one final last HD-DVD title, and that was Beowulf: Directors cut. It was a previous rental but clearly rarely rented. 10 bucks was just the right price for me to want to buy it.

I honestly don't need any more HD-DVD titles... I'd rather save the money for Blu-Ray titles.

I don't know when it's coming to Blu-ray, but I recently scored a used (near mint) import HD-DVD of one of my favorites - TOUCHING THE VOID, for $25 shipped, from an online seller located in my area (Houston).

And I also picked up 6 brand-new HD-DVDs from that current $5.99 sale at Canadian dealer inetvideo.com (shipping was $15 for 6 discs), and I'm looking forward to receiving my order soon.

Always looking for bargain deals on any format.

i have all the titles that i want to own. the nature documentaries ("planet earth", "galapagos", etc.) might look like high-def heaven, but i'm not sure about their re-play value.

I don't know about you, but I watch the BBC Planet Earth once a week...sometimes for an hour...sometimes for a 1/2 hour...but in either case, it is a chance to sit down, relax and be blown away by the picture and the naration...but this is just me.

Cheers...
