View profile »Tim, Tim, Tim.... where have I criticized any of Posters5's reviews? I have not read them, nor will I - so obviously I cannot criticize them!
There are many, many review sites (including here) on the Internet where the reviewers in question haven't publically stated their bias to the point of unadulterated hate where they boycott an entire media format. I simply choose to read reviews by people who are more impartial since life is short and time is limited.
It's like I won't bother reading a review of Western Social Values by Osama bin Laden any time soon either.

View profile »you just happen to know some of my views about a variety of things. however, how do you know that other reviewers share or don't share my views about sony and blu-ray? just because they haven't made public statements attacking or supporting blu-ray doesn't mean one way or the other.
again, you don't know whether or not my reviews attack blu-ray releases simply because they are blu-ray releases until you read my reviews.

View profile »No, I said "Posters5" wasn't impartial enough for me and I prefer the reviewers I read to at least not publically state some extreme fanatic position of hatred against the format they review. Anyway, it's my choice on who's reviews I read and I've stated my reasons why. Fair enough?

View profile »it might interest you to know that internet dvd/hd dvd/blu-ray reviewers communicate regularly with each other. "off the record", more than half--even the ones who review blu-ray--preferred hd dvd over blu-ray. (the only prominent ones who didn't give hd dvd a chance were bill hunt at the digital bits and dan ramer at dvd file.)
again, just because you're unaware of people's personal feelings doesn't mean anything.
