I'm buying a PS3 on Wednesday... at midnight. So I Went ahead and made my first Blu-Ray purchases.... Across The Universe and Stir Of Echoes.

I wanted Across the Universe to be my first BD purchase because I loved it. And... well... Stir Of Echoes was like... 5.70.

I feel proud of myself.

Across the Universe must be better than I thought it was. You all have good things to say about it. I thought it was just another movie using the Beatles music to gain attention it wouldn't have otherwise. Guess it will have to be added to my rental list.

Well it was obviously an homage and tribute to The Beatles.

That and I'm a huge Beatles Fan. Not to mention I also love it's style.

I have yet to take advantage of it because the Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle doesn't come out until June 12th... but they're doing a midnight release for it so... I'll it get it Wednesday night/Thursday Morning.

I bought these movies now so that I don't have to wait a week longer to see them... But I will probably take advantage of that 100 dollar gift card on the spot.

Congrats, hope you enjoy the flicks and MGS

I'm not too big on musicals, but I really enjoyed Across the Universe. It's a great showpiece in hi-def.

The MGS4 budle has a vibrating controller. And the game looks pretty good. To bad it costs money. If if didn't I would be getting one too.

It's a pretty good deal, I'm actually going half and half on it because my dad Owes me some money. Hell he'll still owe me money after this but... I feel better about going half and half on this purchase.

I think I might go blu with this $100 offer for the PS3, I think it's time for me to get a gaming console, and it looks like the Wii in BB is not gona happen anytime soon

...
