Reading this article from AICN about how the Marvel Universe is actually beginning, how the new movies have cameos and they link to each other, I can only wonder...

Do you think that we will begin seeing more projects (either movies or tv shows) involving lesser known good superheroes, or even better, involving villains? I mean, I would love to see a Lex Luthor only movie without Superman (I love Superman, but Lex is such a complex character)...I know it's happening with Magneto, but I don't think it's the same thing.

Hopefully it's finally going to happen, where we have crossovers from one film franchise to another...I still think that the dream of seeing Batman and Superman together will happen soon, we can hope a cameo happens in Superman 2...oh, and the Justice League movie, should not happen for a while, it should be after we have a Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern (with Jamie Foxx, PLEASE!), Hawkgirl, J'onn J'oonz (PLEASE!, with the Rock or Diesel??), Aquaman (who will undertake this difficult task??

) movies...

What would you want?

All I can say is that I hope they do the Ultimate version of Captain America... it seems to make the most sense... and the easiest way to tie him into the Avengers with Tony Stark.

The only problem I see is that in comic books the characters don't age. By the time they make the movies and then tie them all together the actors will much older.

Well the thing with Avengers is that it's slated for like 2011... So... with Captain America also slated for 2011... And then Iron Man 2 and Thor slated for 2010... doesn't sound that bad.

I think Marvel is actually preparing for the inevitable world of simultaneous theater/home release. At some point, people are gonna get sick of super-hero movies at the multiplex. But there will always be a life for them on DVD/download but with the possibility of some extra juice from even a brief theatrical release. If that's the case, they could have a surprisingly long run considering the sheer number of properties they have. Hell, there's supposedly a Power Pack movie in the pipeline somewhere.

Hell, even with just the Avengers, we've got The West Coast Avengers, The Mighty Avengers, The New Avengers, The Young Avengers and even The Great Lakes Avengers.

Eventually, even Squirrel Girl will get her own solo film.

I hadn't heard about Ant Man. Are you sure? If so, I assume Wasp would be in it as well, which would mean they had given all the original Avengers (plus Cap) movies before releasing The Avengers. That's some devious planning!

Thats the plan, the Captain America movie will lead into the avengers movie.
The Justice League movie is supposedly starting to film in July, but who knows.
