does anyone know if there are plans to release the original Batman movies (1-4) on Blu-Ray?
Right now, only Batman Begins is getting a release.

Why do you hope not? If you don't like them, you don't need to buy them. Plain and simple.

The only previous Batman that I liked was the one with Arnold as Mr. Freeze, because the colors were brilliant and I would like to see it on Blu but other than that I would have to agree with Kuco.

I'd probably just buy the one with Jack Nicholson as the Joker.

Tim Burton's first "Batman" with Michael Keaton was a great film of its kind and along with the Christopher Reeve's "Superman" was responsible for reinventing the superhero movie. What's not to like?

The first two Batman's that Burton did were great popcorn entertainment. When Batman Forever came out in 95, I could tell things were headed downhill. By the time Batman & Robin was released, it had hit rock bottom. To this day, George Clooney still appologizes for staring in that movie.
