I don't post much here anymore, but I thought this news should be shared by all us film fans

Wow, this really sucks. He and Rob Bottin were doing amazing things as I grew up that revolutionized special effects in films.

We've lost so many in the past few weeks, here's hoping that the streak is over.

sean (...too many r.i.p.s to count...)

He truly accomplished some cool stuff in cinema. Many of my favorite movies had Special Effects made by him.

That's actually the T-800 Model 101.. the T-1000 was the liquid metal Terminator.

Correcto! I think I have watch that intro seen over a hundred times, back and forth between the DTS track and the Dolby Digital, and have finally decided that the DTS is better... lol

Mike 37,
Can't a man grieve in peace? Must I be totally correct in this time of distress of what model of terminator is pictured? If we were at Stan's funeral, and I fell to my knees before his casket and blurted out in a fit of great sadness.."Thank you Stan..That was the best T-1000 ever man". Would you then punch me in the face and say.."No! THAT was a T-800! Model 101!"..And after I came to my senses and agreed that you are indeed correct..Would you then hand me a tissue? And could you please make sure that the tissue is of the "Kleenex" variety, and not "Puffs? Thank you buddy..
