Hell... If Sulu wants, he could have Neil Patrick Harris be his best man.

This reminds me of perhaps my favorite dialogue exchange in Star Trek: TOS.

In The Naked Time, Sulu thinks he is a swashbuckler. He bursts onto the bridge with sword in hand. He wants to save Uhura from the foul Richelieu. He grabs her and declares "I'll protect you, fair maiden!" Uhura replies, "Sorry. Neither."

Followed by Spock nerve pinching Sulu then saying "Take D'Artagnan here to sick bay!"

Still one of the very best episodes.

Plus Sulu's looking fine in this episode.

I doubt Doogie was invited if The Shat wasn't there.

Jason, I WAS THERE! (no, not really)

George Takei, formerly of Star Trek (hence the Sulu picture), married his long time partner this week in California. The Cali Supreme Court has ruled same sex couples get the same marriage rights as heterosexual couples. Hence they got married.

Questions?

Jason, not invited

Gee those California gays are so lucky....now they can get divorced like the rest of us when the marriage fails....and lose half of their equity....and be really jaded about marriage....and then think maybe they were better off before.
