WOW, I just added the 101st HD DVD to my collection.

Lost in the moment, I never realized that I would ever own so many HD DVD's.

Which is a significant comparison to only 27 Blu Ray discs thus far.

Something about having 5 HD DVD players must mean something, compared to my PS3 which is my only Blu Ray player.

I really hope that some manufacturer is able to market an affordable Blu Ray player sometime soon, as I really want to purchase at least 2 more before the end of 2008, and I would prefer a decent Profile 2.0 player that is not another unreliable piece of 'garbage' game console such as the PS3 has been.

Since it is only June '08 I will have to wait and see what happens......

I can give you the most recent HD DVD's being added to my library, a combination of what I bought for myself, my kids, and what my Wife bought for herself as well.

Blu Ray wise I am working on 27 dresses and the 2 National Treasure movies, so the Blu Ray numbers will begin jumping up soon as well.

I am still running roughly 4:1 HD DVD vs Blu Ray at this point, the movie prices are not the killer, only the Blu Ray player prices are the limiting factor here.

Give me a decent Blu Ray 2.0 player for about $200 and I would probably abandon any future HD DVD purchases.

I have 96 HDDVDs myself and ony a handfull of BDs. Actually, it's over 100 counting imports. I'll probably send an order to deepdiscount.com or secondspin.com this week. I bought 1408 on HDDVD last week from xploitedcinema.com.

I just recieved my 65th HD DVD in the mail: Eastern Promises. Great movie. I wish HD DVD would have stuck around long enough to get History of Violence and the LOTR movies.
