Jason,
Remember, I'm the guy who got the razzing for liking "The Bucket List," which Chris and Eddie and most other reviewers (along with Skyhawk) thought was soggy and sappy and overly manipulative. Different movies affect people different ways.
Another example: I just saw the new "Get Smart" movie today. Half the critics in the nation (according to RT) thought it was dull and boring. I thought it was pretty funny. Different movies, different people, different reactions.

Hey I didn't razz you, nor did I think the Bucket List was soggy, sappy, or overly manipulative. I just thought it was unfunny, shallow, and parted severely from any kind of reality to how these characters should take their pending deaths. They had a great chance to do something truly awesome with this movie, and blew it IMO.
Now the move "What Dreams May Come" was a little better IMO, but this definitely was soggy, sappy, and overly manipulative. We care not for the wife in this movie he is out to "save" from hell, because her personality and interaction with him just were not laid out this way. I didn't care about her. We cared more for the kids, and especially the freakin' dog. But unfortunately when the dog appears, Robin Williams does his over-acting thing with his expressions, and ruins the whole scene. God, this guy is a contender against Shatner for over-acting. I can't believe the director wouldn't have made him do this 1000 more times if necessary to get it right.
Yeah, the visuals were interesting for us Catholic crowd

Well then, Skyhawk, there will be NO MORE razzing John Puccio! EVER! And one more wise-crack out of you and not only will you receive the "Richard Head" title for one year, you'll spend every day in my office for detention!
