Wow, someone knows how to use the soft blur in PhotoShop!

As long as there will be graphics software to enhance or degrade images, and they're out there, then side-by-side comparion's shown on the web are pointless. If you really want to see the difference you're going to have to wait until you see a physical demo for yourself (even then it will depened on who's padding who's pocket at the time).

Are we seriously back to this Super Duper "Close to 1080p but not quite 1080p" Up Conversion garbage? I mean, seriously.

By definition, upconversion approximates the extra pixels and information between 480 and 1080. And by approximate, I mean estimate. And by estimate, I mean not true high definition. Thus this remains garbage thrown out by people who have no concept of gracefully bowing out of a competition instead of continuing to gnaw on their opponent's leg long after the bell has sounded.

Jason, Deadmeat get's his jollies from us responding to his posts intelligently. What's funny is he lies about everything therefore has no credability. To be honest I feel sorry for someone that has nothing better to do than to post thse things. Obviously, and I'm not attacking, he has no personal life. He probably sits in a room and Googles 24/7. Then as Tim suggested, uses Photoshop. Henning must find him amusing because he is still here. So just either ignore him or derail his thread.
