View profile »I miss the days of the HD-DVD/Blu-ray debate (you know, where we argued about it because the battle was going on). As bad as it was then, things seem to have gotten worst. I still visit this site very often, check up on the reviews and browse the forums a bit. Hope this site keeps its high profile that I have come to appreciate from it.
I still love HD-DVD, and I'm seriously intrigued by Toshiba's Super Upconversion. While I don't see how it could rival Blu-ray or HD-DVD, I have a feeling that it may be enough for a lot of movies. If I can upscale my DVD collection to at least 720p, then I'm surely going to follow this technology, particularly for animated dvds that will probably take an eternity to be released on Blu-Ray.
This place deserves a break, c'mon Deadmeat, let there be peace. I'm sure that when official pics are released by Toshiba, then this site will cover it in one way or another. If not, then I would certainly appreciate it as much if any member of the forums posted the info.
