Yeah... It kind of looks like bourne to me.
There are a couple of shots that are identical.
P.Greengrass must be proud.

It'll be nice to have a Bond movie that finally acknowledges a previous movie in more then just passing. My one problem with Bond movies is how they always hit the reset switch between movies.

Look, it is Jason Bourne all grown up. But it does look pretty awesome.

this is getting lame. they made "MI3", "casino royale", and "shoot 'em up" basically as tributes to/reactions to/rip offs of the "jason bourne" series, and it's quite obvious that the bond movies will continue down that road. one "jason bourne" is enough.

Eddie,

I think you may be a little too fixated on the "Bourne" movies. They were fun and unique in their way, but to suggest that most action movies since the first "Bourne" are all copycats of it (including by extension, I suppose, the succeeding "Bourne" films) may be stretching the point. I mean, Bond predates the first "Bourne" by forty-odd years and to one degree or another does most of what "Bourne" did, so it should be the other way around.

Excellent point John, but the difference is Bourne was almost rouge and had no support where as 007 always could rely on Q and M for help. Bourne was not a ladies man as where 007 was. With Bourne it was always about him being hunted and 007 doing the hunting. In away they're two different stories. I also heard that there is to be a Bourne 4 in 2010.

Eddie,

I bet if Matt Damon was the new Bond, you'd be first in line.

^Good point, after looking at the trailer I can honestly see Eddie's point of view. Now Bond is rouge. I guess this is SONY's answer to Universal's highly profitable Bourne series. I like the fact that Bond is on his own. Let's see what comes of it.
