oh, man, when i saw "memento" years after its release, i wanted to scream at the whole world, "why does everyone like it so much???" it was such a chode piece of crap.

the story was airtight, but that doesn't mean that it was any good.

the same goes for "the prestige" the movie didn't cheat, but man, it stunk.

"The real issue here, Robin, is why was I passed up six times for the lead role? I'm Batman! I AM BATMAN!!!"

Batman star Christian Bale has declared he will quit the comic book movie franchise if producers ever decide to reintroduce the caped crusader's sidekick Robin.

Bale took on the role of the legendary action hero in 2005's Batman Begins and will be seen again in The Dark Knight, which is due for release later this month.

But the actor is hoping that the character of Robin is not brought back into any of future Batman movies - because he will resign in protest.

He says, "If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work."

You know, I can't blame the guy. When Robin was introduced in the other Batman movies the franchise went south. Perhaps throwing Robin into the mix is a bad omen.

Tim,

You've got to be the first person I know to not blame Schumacher first and foremost for Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. And there was nothing wrong, really, with Batman Forever. It was exactly the movie Warner wanted. Moreso for Batman & Robin.

But no, it wasn't Robin as a bad omen. It was mass tie in's and toys. Enormous talent in BF: Kilmer, O'Donnell, Jones, Carrey, Kidman. I actually like it a lot. B&R on the other hand, kinds sucks bat balls.

Jason, Chris O'Donnell..........................................................

Eddie, my man...

I never said BF was a GOOD movie. It's just not the trainwreck everyone thinks it is! It's fun on a comic book, neon lights, BOOM BOOM level.

And no, I don't like Kilmer in that way. He played a good Bruce Wayne, understated and different than Michael Keaton.

Jason, Holy Rusted Metal Batman!
