FYI. All that talk after Ledgers death about playing the Joker "Messing with his mind"...all B.S. He ENJOYED playing the roll. The conspiracy theories are just that. So don't go into this movie thinking that the roll drove him nuts, or into a "dark" place.

Not only that but Michael Caine and Aaron Eckhart were both on Leno last week and said nothing but good about Heath off screen. They said he was really laid back and friendly.
The first negative review is out.

David Edelstein doesn't seem to realize how serious some of the Joker storylines in the comics are. This is the guy who beat Robin to near death with a crowbar, only to later detonate the building.
I don't mean to sound like a fanboy defending a movie I haven't seen, I just don't think being dark and realistic is a legitimate gripe here.

Well I threw in Batman Begins on saturday night and watched it with the GF in anticipation of Dark Knight, man I forgot what a good movie B.B. really is. It was the third or fourth time I have seen it but we were both right into it until the very end. Great movie and if Dark Knight is on par, or any better, we're in for a real treat.
