I hate to break up a good argument, but getting back to the subject: The article says, "Blu-ray Discs are up 506% year to date and have a 1.2% share in the total market."

So, 506% sounds like an enormous increase (and it is), but when you consider that it's an increase over practically nothing, it still doesn't amount to much (1.2% of the total disc market). High def is catching on, but it will be a while before it seriously competes with standard DVDs. Meanwhile, those of us with high-def players can enjoy our early advantage.

didnt sony themselves say that blu isnt gonna compete against sd, just go out and buy it if you want true hi-def and as you can see, in the uk that is 5 fold over the last count.

so i cannot understand poster and timmys attitude, weirdos
