What the heck is going on with this site?

I first started coming here, back in January, to keep up to date on what was happening in the HD-DVD/Blu-ray format war...having purchased a HD-DVD player in November of 2007.

What was once a great place to come and share thoughts, and yes opinions on all things pertaining to HiDef specifically and home entertainment in general, from all points on this planet, is beginning to turn into another of the countless websites out there over run by "Me Too's!", self indulgent bucket heads and just general trolls.

Maybe it is time for me to just pay attention to the new and reviews section and avoid the message boards all together.

May intelligence return to this highly rated and recommended site before there is nothing left but trolls running amok.

r-u-serious, the message board will get cleaned up. Just like any other message board we get trolls that ruin things for everyone else. Have patience and things will get back to normal soon enough.

Hey, I guess the key thing is to ignore, those individuals and move on. I tried to the last few days but now found myself getting wrapped up in that mess as well. I guess it doesn't hurt to post things that you may have found interesting to you. People in general have to be a lot more understanding and see things from your point of view. Good post.
