The first part is coming out on October 10th. The second part is slated for Feb. 20th. Quentin Tarantino's new movie is coming closer and the anticipation for it is growing more and more. So, let's talk about it. Do you guys think that Tarantino will be able to come back after "Jackie Brown," which, incedently wasn't all that bad of a movie. Will he be able to bring another "Pulp Fiction?" I mean, the trailer itself looks cool, and that song, though I don't know the title (any help here would be great), with Uma Thurman running up the stair rails and slicing that guy. I especially like the shot with Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu in the snow about ready to face off. What are your hopes for the movie? Do you think we'll be let down? Or will it rise to be another cult classic?

yeah i think quentin tarantino will make a nice comeback with KillBill, although probably not as big as he wants or we're expecting. i think too much time has passed since his movies, and alot of people who go to movies now either don't know who he is or have forgotten about his style of movies. :(
i do like the concept of KillBill, the trailer does look cool. the song played is "Hotei - Hoteicom - Kill Bill Teaser", addicitve song. with a movie that's 2 parts, i'm not sure those are going to be so successful. i mean MatrixReloaded was highly anticipated, but it didn't do as well as box-office people had hoped. i think expectations are just too high these days.
i dont have any expectations for KillBill except that Quentin will show his style again and it'll be fun to watch. :D

I just saw this movie and was not in the least disappointed. Now I don't believe Tarantino lost anything when he made Jackie Brown, I mean, hey, I like Jackie Brown, it was a good movie. But for those in any sort of doubt whether or not Quentin Tarantino lost his touch with Jackie Brown, he regained it with Kill Bill. The plot could fit in a fortune cookie. A woman left for dead on her wedding goes after the people who tried to kill her. Granted, the film doesn't have the Tarantino dialouge of Pulp Fiction, but you know what? The heck with it, ThIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE! What can I say but wow? The fight sequences are just astonishing. Even the anime sequence, and usually I don't like anime outside Miyazaki, was splendid. Tarantino is back in form again and he does it with style. Where most movies this year are chock-full of CGI and special effects. Tarantino puts in one CGI scene where The Bride gets shot and hey, it's great. This has fight sequences that The Matrix wanted to have. Why? Because it is all real. Uma Thurman actually gets sliced and smashed during her path of destruction. It's just...wow. You know what, stop reading these meaningless words on this Internet page and get out and see this movie. Hell, go see it AGAIN, it's worth it.
