Hello im from Scotland and i love...emm Blu-Ray. I was never big on DVD as i knew after the announcement in 2002 of Blu-Ray that building a huge movie collection on DVD was just not worth it (i still bought about 800 DVDs though not that much). Blu-Ray technology is going to max out home entertainment for next 15 to 20 years as i see.

Making it a far better format to build huge movie collection on than DVD as i see it. Plus the picture quality on a DVD is carp.

Do you mean it's fishy?

welcome pal,

I always wondered how Tim held on until the end of the war, and purchased both formats either way. -just came to mind

When I purchased my player I had every intension of getting the Panasonic Brooo-ray player. As it just so happened, the LG combo player was an open box item for half the price and that's why I ended up with both formats. Nevertheless, from the start of the war I always mentioned I would probably go for a combo player -- plus I had to wait until I could afford either and a new HDTV. So, there you have it.

Blade, I'm the same way and the name is an interesting choice for sure but we have to give people the benefit of the doubt. New members will join all the time and we can't assume they are all...you know who.

Still, I totally understand where you're coming from.
