Looks like Wb has decided to lower the prices on their high def movies. New releases will be about $20 and older catalog movies will of course be less than that. About time someone uses some common sense. Hopefully this will lead to other studios dropping their prices as well. Now if they can just lower the prices of the players....

Now if only Disney would learn that most their movies are mediocre and warrent no need to be overpriced.

Disney will NEVER learn! I have actually bought more HD DVDs then BDs since I bought my Panasonic BD player, mostly because of price. If the price of BDs goes down, then that will change.

Disney hasn't made a good one since the preacher w/ a boner in Little Mermaid, well maybe just marriage scene, but still...

I've noticed that new fox bd movies have the highest prices. I wonder if its because of the new copy protection that they implemented in all of their discs a few months ago?

If the news is true, then a blu-ray will be a no brainer instead of an SD...good job WB! Let's hope everybody else follows your footsteps...
