You mean Shutter and Step Up 2 The Streets didn't make you jump on board?
And not One Missed Call?
C'mon man! Don't you know good films when you see them??
Jason, TOTALLY sarcastic

Sounds like a pretty lame excuse to buy a POOhS3. Iron Man wasn't that great.

Iron Man should be coming out right around the time of the price drop correct?
Even though I already have mine =D.

Well, most of the world would disagree with you there. It's probably the best Marvel movie ever made, and definitely one of the best superhero movies ever made.
A lot of people toss around X2, but that one got really slow in the middle. The only amazing part of that movie was the beginning with Nightcrawler.
Spider-Man 2 is the same story. While it was the best of the Spidey films, it still had some shaky CGI and I thought they could have done a much better job with Dr. Octopus.

Lmao. It's really a great piece of hardware. Just ignore the "NAME" and enjoy the product. And at 400 bucks for the 80 gig? WOW! While your picking up "Ironman" may I suggest that you pick up "2001" also. It will blow your mind.

Probably so, but I do agree with Reaggie to a point. While I did enjoy Iron Man and I'd probably give it an 8/10 on the DVDTOWN scale, I really didn't find it as one of the "greats" in super hero movies. As I said, I enjoyed it and quite a lot at that, but comparing it to other films in its genre, Iron Man just doesn't stack up as one of the greats IMO. Very, very good, but not great -- however, no doubt I'll buy it on Brooo-ray when it comes out.

Is it possible we can ever talk about a movie without it turning into a masterbation plug for the PS3?
. . . no?
I thought not. I wonder half the time why I even bother hanging around this site.

I also think it's Marvel's best movie, and on par with X2, Superman II, and Batman Returns...'til Dark Knight comes out...oh, and Man of Steel...

Hey, I'll be reviewing these titles in the near future for DVD Town. I actually just watched "Never Back Down" and liked it. Maybe I wasn't expecting too much, since not much can be expected from movies like this, but it was well made. A little predictable, but still a good movie. Would have been better though if the blonde actress was somebody else.
As for "I Know..." it's a slasher movie, just with much better actors. The premise is shaky and the villain could have had more imagination, but it still isn't it terrible movie. After all, it did spawn a sequel (but that one stunk).

The Incredible Hulk just had a different kind of hype than Hulk, and a new actor, nothing better, just the ending...

well thank god ive been waiting for a release date for Iron Man to come out on dvd for ages and ages, i must admit most of the marvel films ive seen were quite gud but this is in a whole new level even with superheroes and their secret identities. Spider-man 3 is nothing compared to the likes of the metal Iron Man.

i like going to the movies, go all the time, and will continue to do so. i wouldnt mind waiting, but sometimes is anoyying, when you look foward to a movie, and you wanna wait, then wither
1- people talk about it so much they spoil
2- you hear all the hype and money it made
3- keep seeying long commercials ruining certain parts of the action
4- keep hearing peoples opinions
5- etc,
i rather just go see it, i just think a movie could be spoiled so many different ways nowdays

Its the biggest joke in Video Game history since the 3DO. Loads of people will shill that thing for games which it dosn't have.
Atleast it plays Blu-ray.

from IMDB:
"Robert Downey Jr. may only be spoofing, as he reportedly does to hilarious effect playing a white Australian actor playing an African-American soldier in Tropic Thunder, but he has boldly given The Dark Knight its worst review yet. When asked during an interview with MovieHole.net about the Batman sequel, Downey said that he "didn't get it. ... still can't tell you what happened in the movie, what happened to the character." He said that while watching the movie, it dawned on him, "I get it. This is so high-brow and so f***ing smart, I clearly need a college education to understand this movie." He then added, "You know what? F*** DC comics. That's all I have to say and that's where I'm really coming from." Last month, Downey starred as Iron Man, created by DC comics' principal rival, Marvel."

btw, mvckalel, i recommend any of the funai clones (magnavox, sylvania, insignia) over the PS3. they're relatively inexpensive compared to other blu-ray players and can do more than some of the pricey models. they're profile 1.1 and can take just about any disc thrown at it (unlike the samsungs, which keep choking on a variety of java-enabled discs).

I guess so Eddie, I don't have one of those nice Onkyo receivers, so as long as the pq is good enough, I don't think it'll matter...now my post should read "Iron Man is the movie that will make me get a blu-ray player"...again, waiting for Iron Man, KOTCS, Hellboy 2 and Wall-E...oh, and I thought you were calling me a troll clone,
, go figure...
As for Downey Jr.'s take on it, he is right about Bruce Wayne/Batman's character development, well, the lack of it...and no more TDK controversies...except that I'll change the $575 for $535 million, again...

I think RDJ's just trying to goad his buddy AMH for having ended up in the global hit phenomenon of the year.
I wished Stark would have had more character depth rather than feeling I was just watching Downey doing his usual muttering riffs.
