Saw the dark night last night, or early this morning what ever you want to call it. Its a great movie but Heath Ledger's acting is some of the best I have seen. As Kevin Smith put it we wasn't really acting so much as he disappeared completely into the roll. So make sure to see it. It was a great movie. But I must say getting home at 3am and then being at work at 8am is tons of fun.

Any one else seen it? What do you think?

Man I wish I saw it last night even though I started at 7:30 am today it would have still been worth it. Made plans to see it on Monday instead with some friends and will probably end up seeing the IMAX version.

Soooo looking forward to it. How's the whole Harvery Dent thing? Does he play a prominent role? I can't wait to see Heath in all his glory.

Falcon, you disappoint me. Or you complete me!

Anyone, who has seen the movie, will know...

Absolutely amazing acting by Ledger. The whole cast did really well. Hell, The whole movie is solid. A couple of hours ago, keep in mind I've only had about 5 hours of sleep or so, I'm calling this movie Epic Superhero Movie! Probably the best ever written! Not the stupid Wayans title either. I still can't think quite straight, need more sleep, but must go to work...

I was impressed with the movie in so many ways! This movie broke boundaries, and will be very interesting to see what happens in the next installment! I will mention that the Harvey Dent plot did move along a little quickly, but there is still a deep list of Batman Characters to get to yet! Nolan really outdid himself, with the storyline, and the enless turns and twists of emotions, and simple plot hangers! Definately not a movie for children. I couldn't believe that parents actually took their kids there last night! Anywho, that's the crankyness coming out. I want to write more, but must get ready for work!

Heath Ledger was beyond belief. I have never seen a performance in ANY movie like the one he delivered in this one. He truly made an original character. You would have to believe that alot of it was "drug" influenced, due to the circumstances of his passing, but in no way did it affect his focus and INTENSITY. First "Enis" and now "The Joker" this guy was just entering the "Revolver" stage of his career. What a loss...

i agree this was one of the best performace ive seen in a long long time, i didnt even think of the joker as ledger, he did disapear in the joker role, awesome job. RIP

It's a damn shame that Heath Ledger is no more. This movie could have been the REAL launching point in his career. I will buy this on Blu-ray once it's released and will most likely cherish it forever for his performance alone.

moving on...

i have this little conspiracy theory. what happened to the joker? i mean he was just kinda left hanging there?! due to heaths death, maybe there was SOMETHING that was left out? like maybe he fell to his death, or was led back to the asylum? and out of "respect" nolan just decided to leave him hanging upside down? hmmmmmmm. i know i may be reaching but still....

I don't think so. Nolan stated numerous times that The Joker wasn't the focus of the movie, Harvey Dent was. The Joker was just a force of nature tearing through the picture.

i was going to disagree with ya depression, but all of the sudden your comment made sense.

but..i still cannot shake this feeling that just leaving him hanging there and then the sudden cut to dents rushed ending was what was intended...something in that part of the film just seems "off".
