I haven't seen it yet, so I really can't form an opinion. However, the hype around here is almost insane as the good old format war days. I think Bladerunner is right . . . NERDS . . .

View profile »It is really a good movie. But wait, it was ok when you other NERDS, came to Georgie Lucas's rescue with his over bloated Raiders 4 movie. But thats right, he is a visionary. Man I cannot wait for him to release all of the Star Wars movies on 3 D.
Like we always say around the office, "build a bridge and get over it", TDK is an instant classic. LOL

Considering that IMAX started out it's life as educational films and gimmicky 3D "movies". This isn't much of an accomplishment.

Sarcastic, right?
Again, it was the third movie I was really waiting for this summer (besides a moving box of metal and an old whip), and it didn't live up to my expectations the way others did. I mean, the editing is not that great, neither is the cinematography (except for some IMAX scenes), Batman's voice is annoying, he has his little Matrix and Superman moments, he is not the main focus, the scope isn't big, when things should be incredible they aren't, the villains are the main focus here (again), some characters are underused, some subplots lead nowhere...and unlike with Superman II or Spiderman 2, he actually doesn't "quit" his job, not even for the love of his life (which reminds me of that comic pic in another thread were everybody thinks of their female lovers and Batman of Robin
