Alright, I personally think this'll practically be the funniest comedy of the decade, so-so review or no.

To the reviewer, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone else, but I have been dying to know this- the big celebrity cameo, how much screen time do they have? I found out who they were when it was spoiled for a bunch of people, and since then, Jack Black has said it's almost a full supporting role, and more than just one scene.

Is this true? I'd really like to see "this person" in more than just one scene.

Vincent,

I probably misspoke when I labeled it a 'cameo.' He's definitely a vital supporting character and gets plenty of screen time.

Glad to hear it, thanks.

Since the leaked announcement came it, it's been all back and forth as to the size of the role, now that I know it's actually a decent sized one, I'm all the more excited.

If the movie is half as funny as the MTV sketch, it's gonna rock, and make $300 million domestically...either ways, I was sold already...but Monday is X-Files 2!

Several groups that advocate for the disabled are calling for a boycott of the new film Tropic Thunder, starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Tom Cruise and Robert Downey, Jr.

The groups state that the movie is depicting a negative portrayal of those with "intellectual disabilities."

The flick is directed by Stiller and is set to be released this Wednesday.

There are currently 22 disability groups protesting the movie's satire.

Many of the groups also plan to protest the movie's premier today in Los Angeles.

Peter Wheeler, a spokesman for the Special Olympics, says "We are asking people not to go to the movie and hope to bring a consciousness to people about using derogatory words about this population. That will be the start of a nationwide protest. We will continue to be vocal about the destructive effect of this film."

Wheeler says the groups are particularly offended by the repeated use of the word "retard" in regards to a subplot character that Stiller plays called Simple Jack.

I love how groups can be offended by a movie without actually seeing it. Clearly Stiller's character playing someone mentally challenged isn't a stab at disabled people but pretentious actors who think just because they played someone mentally handicapped they automatically become Oscar Worthy. That said I'm still going to see it.

Sadly, there was some confusion about the protest location and some of the picketers were spotted outside the "Tropicana"!

I love how they are "protesting" the use of the word retard yet you have Rober Downey Jr pretending to be a black guy in the movie and nobody says a boo.

It's comedy for F*** sake! Laugh a little and enjoy life a bit. Life's too short to take so seriously.
