Considering you can still buy the 5 movie Ultimate Boxsets for around $35, still not a double dip for me, but a buy for Hendrix...

Yes, the price is a bit steep for catalog titles but I got to have Bond in good HD. I just do! Love those movies.

mvckalel... as I said a few months back (when editor James Plath made the news announcement about the new Bond BDs), the only one I will buy seperately on BD is For Your Eyes Only (my favorite Roger Moore Bond film), and just rent the others.

I'm not going to support buying these now, when we know that MGM will be releasing the inevitable deluxe Bond Set (at a later date) of ALL Bond films. And I already own many of them in the last remastered SD-DVD editions.

I think many of us have 'caught on' to the studios' marketing plans, and are hesitant to double & triple-dip in buying the same films over and over. So, unless you find editions on a great sale, I'd pass until a complete box set is released.

Just like how I'm skipping on buying any of the "Indiana Jones" films, until Paramount releases ALL of them on Blu-ray (hopefully by early 2009).
