I just love the cover art with the space craft across the front.

Now I have to decide if the movies justify a re-buy in HD.

I dunno...but if I could spring for "Omega Man" at full HD-DVD prices, I am sure I may be able to spring for this collection too

Not the biggest fan, but I enjoy the movies. Not a purchase yet until the prices go down. Great artwork and packaging.

Yes, it is very nicely done.

Now if only Blu-ray was the size of Laserdiscs so we could get some size on those covers.

We rented that one, and HD really revealed the flaws in this movie. On more than one occasion, my wife was laughing because she could see distant traffic (including big tractor-trailers) in the wider shots of the city scenes.

I'll be getting this POTA box set. While I thought the 2nd movie was a bit of a joke compared to the first, I really enjoyed the 3rd for some reason when the focus was back on the apes. Other two were so-so, but certain to be a nostalgic experience for me at the very least.
