I am lucky...I picked up the Japanese set on HD-DVD a month or two ago for $100

Well, Henning, the closest I could come to that was the UK release of In the Shadow of the Moon... http://www.dvd.co.uk/DVD/In-The-Shadow-Of-The-Moon-HD-DVD/F4HD50004/product.htm

I thought it was worth the £13.99 I paid for it
