The day after I heard about Berny Mac I saw that Isaac Hayes died as well. I don't know much about him other than his roll on south park.

You sure? I've owned the Woodstock film on LaserDisc for a long time (including the Japanese imports - 3 days - of each day's other/extended performances and rare footage, never released on DVD), and to my knowledge Isaac Hayes never played at Woodstock, or was even invited.

Perhaps you mean Richie Havens, the guitarist/vocalist who opened the concert on Friday afternoon, and is the first (filmed) artist to be seen performing in the Warner movie. - INFO HERE.

"Theme from Shaft" was probably one of the only deserving winners of the best song Oscar. Still awesome after all these years. R.I.P Isaac

I liked when he played "The Duke" in "Escape From New York". He also stars in Soul Men, along with Bernie Mac due for release this year.

I'd have to say Asneeze was his greatest accomplishment.
