www.deepdiscount.com currently has a myriad of HD DVDs on sale for $8.99. I just bought In the Valley of Elah, Pan's Labyrinth, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Corpse Bride for 8.99 each. They also have The Assassination of Jesse James, Million Dollar Baby, A Scanner Darkly, Blazing Saddles, Unforgiven, The Road Warrior, and many more. They are probably emptying their inventory so get 'em while their hot!!!!!!

I'll try to restrain myself from buying more than 5 $8.99 movies, including Pan's... (I will try)...maybe 2001 too, I crave for it on HD...

Thanks Jedi, I just dumped $100 on movies that I wasn't supposed to

Being the cheapskate that I am, I sorted by price. Past pg10 I found some other $8.99 movies.

For $8.99:
Galapagos, Pan's Labyrinth, The Brave One, I am Legend, Appleseed Ex Machina, Unforgiven, and The Fugitive.
For $9.89:
Batman Begins.
For $11.98:
The Pianist and Dead Silence.

My total collection stands at a little over 75 movies.

Sorry guys, I know it caused you to spend money... I did too, now my allowance (hehehe) has been cut WAY down and it's not even the end of the month yet.

Picked up 2001 and Galapagos Island videos.

Saw a bit of 2001 on my HD satellite channel. This movie shocks you that it was made in the late 60s and looks this good(picture quality and special affects).

Ultimate Matrix pack was only 30 bucks.

HI ANDY!

Wolv, how good is the pq of 2001? Is there a lot of detail?

EDIT: Crap! Appleseed isn't available anymore...hurry up if you are planning on spending greens there!

Sorry mvckalel...I had found a stash of Appleseed's locally for $6.00 a disc and was selling them at the TBS store

If I come across anymore, I'll let you know...

As far as 2001 goes...the PQ & SQ is incredible! So much so, you can actually see paint brush strokes on the background scenery

Was 2001 not filmed originally in 70mm

OK, so here is my order:

-Pan's Labyrinth
-2001
-IMAX: Galapagos
-Relentless Enemis (National Geographic)

For a total of $39.96...

Still, missed Appleseed, Blue Planet and Superman Returns...still thinking about Superman II:The Donner Cut and Prisoner of Azkaban (my favorite Harry movie)...
