i wouldn't categorize scotsman's threads as "anti-blu-ray". he's pro-toshiba, perhaps, but i don't think that he's rampaged against blu-ray the way that some of the other trolls/shills have rampaged against hd dvd.

Scotsman may like Toshiba products, but he's never gone and bashed Blu-Ray. At first I found myself bashing Blu-Ray, but could now careless. When it comes to Sony that is of a different matter. I think it is fair to say that Scotsman, Eddie, and myself are not fans of Sony. I think most posters at this site are over the format war. Some of us may not like it, but when it comes down to the end, we may not purchase the format, or avoid companies like Sony. Some of us still see that Blu-Ray has yet to acomplish things that the other format had already acomplished when it died. So for you Jono to wonder why some posters feel the way they do, is something that you, and the trolls are going to have to live with. Trolling 10 topics on Blu-Ray is not what this site is about. This site is about movies, and frequently new hardware updates happen from time to time. As a matter of fact I do check Blu-Ray.com from time to time, not everyday. Some of us do read on it, and don't publish everything that appears to be there. You may live on that site, that is fine. But to troll us to read it, that's another bowl of troll worms.

Some of you people are ridiculous. The format war is over, but some of you BD nut cases continue to go on and on and on forever stating the obvious, repeating old news, rubbing salt into old wounds and shooting down those who disagree with you. It never ceases. People like our current crop of trolls ruined this forum in the first place a year ago and drove off some very competent and knowledgeable posters. Like John McCain said last night "...we need to learn to disagree without demonizing each other..." He's absolutely correct.

And don't take this the wrong way not all BD supporters are nut cases. Just a few. If you take offense to this, then most likely you are one of those aforementioned trolls. If you have nothing constructive to say, then don't say it. Rant over.

The only nutcases are the ones who agree with john mcCain. We dont want another BUSH ruled world.

And i think it is good to spread every bit of blu-ray news into as many accepting forums as possible, after all it can only help speed up the imminent mass adoption. Although there is a very simple solution to those who have too many -->wounds<-- , dont read the threads if they are too painfull, their topics are quite clearly decipherable through their title.

My own postings have attracted around 310+views so far today, so that goes to show you that people ARE INTERESTED IN READING THESE POSTS. Remember it is not sonys or blu-rays fault that toshiba ditched it's perfectly good hd-dvd format, and left all adopters of that format with worthless hd-dvd players, that can now only be sold at a big loss.

Wow Jono I'm thrilled. I feel so humbled.

To think my posts have touched you so much as to make you start a thread all about little ole me.

I feel I've let you down somehow by barely even noticing your previous posts. Well from now on I promise to try and give a damm - although it won't be easy.

Jono from your subject "U can tell who makes a thread...." Yes you can because the Author is listed right beside it - doesn't take a genius.

Do we really need an entire thread dedicated to singling somebody out?

I respect John McCain for his service to his country but that's it. He starts running negative ads against Obama and then he says that? He's got to be kidding me.
