When it cost $10 for a gallon of gas those flea market sales are gonna start looking real good. And believe me it will happen. I have enough connections in the field to know that if we don't get further away from fossil fuels within the next 5 to 10 years we're going to have some real economic problems paying for gas. And I will piggy back on everyone else with being neutral toward blu-ray but really disliking Sony. How I long for the Sony of old that was hip and had marketing savvy. They had quality tv ads as opposed to the ones now showing talking penises and women taking a dump. They were humble and actually listened to consumers and developers before they made a product.

johnny johnny johnny, still making yourself look like a fool eh?, i dunno maybe your going a little senile in your old age, anyway sony are not paying me anything, if they were then my info would come directly from them and not various other movie/blu-ray sites. I could have posted over 30 topics if i wanted, but i did not, only info/news that i felt people would be interested in and with over 700 views of said topics, i think i did the right thing.

What's going to happen now is that the BD HARDCORE will circle their wagons and try to discredit the new Toshiba player at every opportunity by being sarcastic and confrontational because they perceive it's appearance as a totally unexpected threat to their dominance. Actually it's already begun as illustrated by some of the nasty crap from a small minority on this forum. Personally, I'm looking forward to a review of the new player, hopefully on DVD Town. This WILL get intresting.

Why would the so called BD HARDCORE do that?, after all they have blu-ray players which no upconversion can touch, dont toshiba themselves say it is not a blu-ray killer.
