James Franco as Jack Ryan

According to this article in CHUD, there is a bit rumor about James Franco being Jack Ryan...I mean, after all, he is the only reason Pineapple Express was enjoyable for me (honestly, ban Seth Rogen from EVER appearing on any film)...

Is he the guy from the spiderman films?. I am a big tom clancy fan and just cant imagine him playing jack ryan. After reading all the books i personnaly think that the dude out of THE MIST ( cant remmember his name) would make a good jack ryan type.

James Franco is a very competent actor! I enjoyed his performance in a low-budget drama from 2002 - SONNY, a film that actor Nicholas Cage directed. The link above is to the DVDTOWN review.

I remember when I first heard Heath Ledger was going to play the Joker, I just couldn't picture it. Well, look what happened. I thought the choice of Daniel Craig as Bond was a bit odd, but it paid off well. Therefore, I say we'll just have to wait and see.

There is only one and only one Jack Ryan...that would be the first...Alec Baldwin...there never should have been a Harrison Ford nor a Ben Afflack or whtever the hell his name is
