Sony's PS3 is a BIG LOSER. Up to 3 Billion (U.S. dollars) so far.

Then again, Microsoft is a BIGGER LOSER. 4 Billion!

Oh, boy... Anyways, I buy Wii's then sell them on eBay. That could pad at least ten a week...

That article made me smile. I love to see Sony suffer.

Microsoft lost 4 billion on Xbox 1 because of all the royalties they had to pay to other companies and such. You can also factor in the lack of games besides Halo and Halo 2.

However the Xbox 360 is a big success. They have made profit from it.

But unfortunately Microsoft built the 360 all by themselves, that explains the reliability issue with older units.

I'm glad to see Nintendo and Microsoft beat Sony.

To this day I don't understand why people bought into the Sony FUD and bought a PS2.

Dreamcast was the superior console.

Yeah, but it's the BIGGEST LOSER. Sega never recovered from its wound and stayed a software company, to this day.

Other Lambs sent to the Slaughter (one-hit-wonders):
The Atari Jaguar, the very first TRUE 64-bit system.

The Panasonic 3DO.
The Sega 32X

... and everything one-hit-wonder handhelds NOT Nintendo, like the NEC Turbo Express: The MOST EXPENSIVE handheld game of its time, with THE BEST LCD SCREEN that gave you the option for a TV tuner. I paid PREMIUM BUX for that puppy (sniff, sniff )

Yes it was and that's history for you, as we can see superior does not translate into sales. The 360 and PS3 are both superior to the Wii as far as technology goes.

Edit: M$ is fortunate to have Halo as an exclusive, SONY better hope that Killzone 2 is worth the hype and the wait.

Oddworld needs to make it's way to the PS3, this was my 2nd all time favorite PS game besides SOCOM: US Navy S.E.A.L.s

Only one reason: DVD playback capabilities. No other gaming console (before xbox) had it built-in.
