Which movie opening would you watch (seriously)?

A remake of a BAD MOVIE?

Or a comedy... sequel?

Staying home and watching the rest of the Olympics in Hi-Def (Panasonic 50" Plasma Viera Series . . . boy, that made me feel like Joe/Jimi. lol). Besides, I already get paid to waste my time for 9hrs a day.

Thanks on NEITHER ONE... The Mrs was nagging me to take her somewhere "romantic" tonight- that involves a theater & dinner (silverware a pre-requisite) & these were the FIRST 2 MOVIES that popped up on my "husbandry" head.

Who says Romance is Dead? I guess I keep on trekkin' for better options...

Take her to a nice place to eat. Open the door for her and all that stuff. Tell her how beautifull she looks, don't forget the details. Get her drunk. And then go do something crazy.

First off who says the remake is bad? Have ya seen it?

Either way I'd like to see the new Death Race but I'd rather go see Hamlet 2 because I love Steve Coogan. Especially Steve Coogans character Alan Partridge.

"Death Race" is a remake of Roger Corman's 1975 "Death Race 2000," isn't it? So, who says that old movie was bad? Cheap maybe, but, come on, Carradine and Stallone? Running over pedestrians for points? Kinda fun stuff, actually.

Agree. That movie is classic Corman. His best ever IMO. And certainly one of my favorite B movies of all time. The Bradley Gt's are AWESOME, and Carradine and Stallone? Effen priceless! Remake? Hogwash.

Unfortunately, I saw DEATH RACE 2000 during the 80's, after I've seen Mad Max 1 & 2 already. So I couldn't "appreciate" the cult flic, as it was shown during 1975. I was actually terribly surprised that it was a Roger Corman Classic!
"If the race doesn't kill me, this LIBERACE necktie will..."

I'm just glad I didn't see the CRAPPY REMAKE. Apparently, it's so bad that it couldn't even beat HOUSE BUNNY, in its opening weekend! Ugh...
