View profile »Amazon has now listed the various DVD and BD editions of HELLBOY II: The Golden Army, and they are available for Pre-order (if interested). Universal has really put alot of effort (and extras) in the DVD & BD editions. I personally like the side-image cover pic (of the single-disc DVD editions) over the 2-disc & 3-disc DVD/BD editions. Check 'em out... (especially you Tim Raynor!)

Therefore, if you like to watch the pocketbook for double-dips, "Hellboy II" is a prime target for this to take place. If anything, I'd wait it out a few months -- maybe even several months -- and see what the studio throws at us. If you need to see it that bad then rent.
"Hellboy II" was good enough for a fun popcorn film, but not enough to go into panic mode for it when it's released. I don't think I'll have any problems waiting for a better version down the road, and until that happens, rental will do fine for now.
Besides, I'm not giving the studio the satisfaction of a double-dip like they did to me with "Hellboy I".
