Hey man, don't be dissing "Supernatural." It's really one of the best shows on TV (it's like X-Files, but without the alien crap that never gets resolved). It just needs a better time slot.

Okay, maybe I should have been clearer.

I have been told Supernatural is a very good show and, under the right circumstances, I'd be interested in it. But I can't justify jumping into a show in the fourth season without seeing what came before. And until Warner releases those seasons on BD, I won't be catching up.

I played the catch up game with Smallville last year (six seasons in five months) and Season Seven turned out, well...kinda sorta bad. (Jared and Jensen are pluses, though...)

That's cool. I have the first season of "Supernatural" on DVD, though, and I can tell you that the picture quality is very good according to DVD standards and the sound quality isn't bad, either. Anyways, it's definitely worth the buy since it can be found very cheap now. Who knows if/when WB will put them all on BD?

Very true. WB may never put catalogue seasons on BD. I may never see a BD release of the S1-5 of Smallville. But I am selectively buying DVD's now...almost everything non-review wise is BD.

(Besides, putting Supernatural into the queue along with the review stuff, TIVO season passes and new shows coming...not gonna happen. There isn't enough time in the day! )

Jason, time is the fire in which we burn
