Decided to check out the gold box deals like I do everyday. They just recently put up Uncharted for $29. Pretty good price for a really good game. All of a sudden the entire gold box deal section is gone. There were even some discussions that were started basically saying what the heck just happened. Discussions were removed. I actually thought about buying a copy myself just to sell it. Traded my ps3 in for a bdp-s350 but I still sell stuff on ebay when I recognize a chance to make a profit. Now I wonder if the gold box deals are done for the day or will they return for some more ps3 goodness in a little while once amazon gets the servers back up.

Ha! Someone just had a classic response to alot of the now angry consumers who were unable to get in on the deal. I thought it was pretty funny.

"Imagine if a brick and mortar store has a really good deal on an item, let's say a Wooden Box for $10 (assume that the retail price of a Wooden Box is normally $50) while supplies last. Let's say that they only have 500 Wooden Boxes on hand. Now let's say for the sake of argument that 1,000 people line up outside the store to get a $10 Wooden Box. Once they sell out, are remaining 500 people on line getting ripped off by the store?

Any answer other than "No" means you should seek professional help. If you can not afford professional help, our resident Gold Box Forum psychiatrist, DEEZUS should be by momentarily to assist you for free.

... and by "assist you" I mean "slap the taste out of your mouth."
