Bret Ratner wants to do a GUITAR HERO Movie... oy-vey!

Well, with a scoop like that, I don't see why Activision is NOT scrambling to sign at the dotted lines! But I digress... I gather ANYTHING he does now, is better than his last junk.

I hate what guitar hero has done in the first place. It doesn't teach you anything about playing music, as far as theory goes. Yeah, push some colorful buttons and hope your timing is dead on . . . yeah kids, there's a lot more to music than pushing buttons.

I've played guitar for 25-years and I can assure you playing the real thing is much more fun and rewarding. If you really want to be a guitar hero, buy the real thing and learn how to play. Trust me, it's much more fun than a cheesy video game.

There's no ding dongs in the desert! I hear the violins squeeling away! Just teasing Tim. I see your point. I said to this kids last week, If your good at guitar hero, I'll send you for real guitar lessons! well one of them is going next week to guitar lessons...

Kinda like "The Wizard" with Ben Savage from way back. Nothing more than a massive commercial for Nintendo. And add Ratner into the mix. This has SUCK written all over it.

It's a video game for crying out loud. Don't take it personally just b/c kids don't care that you play real guitar. I do know some kids that, b/c of GH, have started to learn real guitar.

Tim get a grip, you cry about the same exact thing everytime guitar hero is mentioned, and it always sounds the same way, guitar player. blah blah. 25 yrs.. blah blah.

whos out trying to save the world with guitar hero? honestly i prefer G-H, then alot of video games that are out there for minors to play.

Like Tim I see no reason for GH. You practice practice practice to become an expert at a fake instrument. Then you go to a real guitar and cannot play sh**. But we are all different and like different stuff so whatever. Guess it would be better for me to play that than participate in Halo carnage, lol.

I'll give ya the Rush Hour movies, but X3? Abomination, character assassination, deplorable, ill conceived, hackish and incompetent. Sure, some of the problem was the script, but Ratner didn't help one iota.
