Just bought Ironman Blu Ray. I am a HD DVD fan and this is my first BD disc. However, I'm still waiting till Christmas or January for the price drops in players. First player that rates great and is less than 200 will be on my list. Oh it has to be profile 2.0 too

Wolvi, profile 2.0 is so overrated. I have watched roughly 30 blurays now and I have not once used a web feature. I guess MAYBE one day a movie will have a feature on the web that I will want to check out but honestly is it really worth it? No IMO.

Save yourself some coin and headaches (please read Iron Man reviews) and get a good 1.1.

Just some friendly advice.

I agree also. Web enabled features just don't appeal to me and I really don't think this concept is going to penetrate appreciably into the general consumer market. You can get a Panasonic BDP30 now for short (well, shorter, maybe) money and enjoy you BDs right away.

You guys are probably right. These machines don't have the power to do cool stuff on the web. I tried with the transformers disk a while back on HD DVD. Boring! I guess as long as the player updates over network connection I'd most likely be happy.

Wolvinator, I would recommend the Insignia blu-ray player that is selling for about $230...granted, no ethernet port, but I believe the BD-live thing is still useless...

blade, I also got the b-r edition from Target with Iron Man's face, and it has to be one of the best packages ever...let me assume that Target has some deal with Paramount, since they the Optimus Prime transformer on the Transformers release...and now this...should we expect something similar for Indy??

Anyways, it was a regular/big sized dog, he DID bite me, that's when I hit it in the face...and no, I will not use pepper spray, I want for him to feel the rage from inside me...wow, that was wrong...NOT!

I just bought this from AMAZON for $29 and another for my father-in-law (he'll receive it for XMAS). There are 4 disks, three playoff game disks for the 2000 Ravens post season including one SUPERBOWL XXXV disk against the NY Giants. If you have a favorite NFL team, this is a must have.

I just bought GE, TD, RIMM, POT, and AAPL today. I'm only nibbling so far (50 or 100 shares each depending on stock price) and still keeping my power dry. Yeah gotta love these "the sky is falling" days. I hope we have many more before Christmas!

The three Charlie Brown specials which come out tomorrow should be on my doorstep when I get home. The BF loves the Peanuts and I'm trying to get him to dump his old VHS copies.

I bought Best Buy's steelbook Sarah Connor Chronicles S1 SD DVD...it is still unopened should I return it and get the blu-ray edition now that I have a b-r player???
