Just saw the Return of the King trailer. One word. Amazing. Check if your local theater has this trailer and go see it. You will get a glimpse of what will become the best trilogy ever and a free film. What could be better? :D

I have good hope for Return of the King. The war for the ring action sequence is going to make helms deep look like nothing. It might be even bigger then the Clone War which is currently the best action sequence ever done. If done correctly the war for the ring could be even better.

Dude, the best action sequences ever made can be found in "Heat" and "Saving Private Ryan". Take a chill pill, Jimmy.

i think the best action sequences are in the road warrior, hard boiled, and the climax of the seven samurai

That kind of depends on how you define an action sequence, doesn't it? Best car chase: "Bullitt," "Ronin." Best modern war sequence: "Saving Private. Ryan," "Black Hawk Down." Best outer-space battle: "Star Wars," "Independence Day." Best costume battle: "Spartacus," "Braveheart." Best hand-to-hand fight: "From Russia With Love." Best Western gun battle: "Tombstone." Best action adventure: "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Best horror/sci-fi action: "Aliens," "T2," "The Matrix." Best police action, realistic: "Heat." Best police action, unrealistic: "Die Hard." Best sports action: "Raging Bull." Best comic-book action: "Batman," "X2." Best swashbuckling action: "The Adventures of Robin Hood." Best action in the middle of nowhere: "Deliverance." Best action in a bathroom: "Psycho." Best action in a bedroom: Opps, sorry.

John,

You are a sick, sick man. Does that make you a sikh fakir? LOL.
